Fried Calamari with sesame crusted feta cheese
Remove the calamari from the packaging and place in a colander over a deep bowl to catch the liquid.
Cover the colander with a damp towel or food-safe plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator.
The calamari is thawed when it has reached a certain degree of elasticity.
Clean the calamari, rinse under running water and drain well in a colander.
Cut into 2-3 pieces, depending on the length of the body. Slightly cut the tail pieces to open them and let the water out.
Drain well on paper towels, flour and deep fry in hot corn oil for 3'.
Cut the feta cheese into thick pieces and coat first with the egg and then with the sesame seeds.
Fry the feta in hot oil for about 3 minutes on both sides and then place in the oven at 180 °C for 2.5 minutes.
